About Sandip Suresh, M.D.

Dr. Sandip Suresh is a skilled board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in ocular immunology and general ophthalmology with a focus on the medical and surgical treatment of cataracts and uveitis. As a devoted uveitis specialist, Dr. Suresh manages complicated anterior and posterior segment pathology as well antimetabolite and biologic immunosuppression, along with local periocular steroids and intravitreal injections. He also sees patients with cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes, diabetes, macular degeneration, other various eye conditions, and is trained to perform both routine and complex cataract surgeries.

Dr. Suresh completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin and medical school at the University of Minnesota, where he was admitted to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. Upon completing medical school, he attended the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles, California for his ophthalmology residency and then completed his fellowship training in Uveitis and Ocular Immunology at the Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon. Throughout his training, he has published several articles and book chapters in multiple medical journals and textbooks. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Texas Ophthalmologic Association, and the Harris County Medical Society.

Dr. Suresh is enthusiastic to be back in Houston and enjoys spending time with his family, running, hiking, basketball, and gardening.
